Digital Product Management Internship

About this role 

Have you ever wondered how food and pharmaceuticals make it to our stores? Do you want to be able to launch new digital products to customers that can truly impact the way they operate their businesses on a global scale? As a product management intern on the Lynx team, you play a critical role in helping us solve new and exciting problems for the global supply chain.   

 

In this role, you will be both learning and doing. You will be learning about all the intricacies that make the cold chain work (the supply chain for temperature-sensitive products), and you will be supporting our product managers to innovate in the cold chain.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • The role is paired with one or many Product Managers, who are responsible for developing the overall product vision. The product team is jointly responsible for the product roadmap, release planning, feature definition, and strong customer advocacy. On any given day, you may be: 
  • Helping to draft requirements,  
  • Help support the creation of product training materials,  
  • Attending a customer call to help with needs analysis understand better their pain points,  
  • Help with research, define, and prioritize requirements. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in engineering related field   
  • 3.0 or higher GPA  
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for solving customer problems – an interest or experience in digital products and creating an excellent customer experience.
  • Detail-oriented – you can see the big picture and break it down into small, digestible chunks.
  • Passion for and understanding of technology – working knowledge of modern, cloud-based technology.  
  • Excellent communication – you can help translate product requirements into clear user stories and communicate across product and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and actionable.  
  • Business acumen – the desire to learn more about product management and understand how every new feature delights customer and the value that digital product brings to impact the business.
